    For old folks only...

2 weeks ago I attended my 20 year reunion.

If anyone else happens to be that old around here and attended a 20 year... what did you think?

For me, it was so nice to see all those chicks that thought they were so hot in high school definitely not looking so hot as they approach 40.

When asked what I had to say to all my classmates... I replied, "Keep exercising so you don't look old and fat."

I am not too sure how that went over since we were the only married couple that didn't have kids.
Every single mom looked at me with great disgust :)

Sorry Greg, but I'm not old balls like you. So I probably shouldn't be responding to this. But that's a good story.  Thanks for sharing.  I applaud you for that comment, "Keep exercising so you don't look old and fat."  I don't like fat, lazy, and unhealthy from lack of exercise people.  Good job!

Mine is in about 2 weeks.   Thankfully I still have a little hair and while gigantic and fat for the climbing community, I still pass as semi-athletic in the general population.

thats hilarious.  we'll have our 10 year reunion next year. it'll be 11 by that point though, but i was in a graduating class of 3, so it shouldn't be too hard to call the other 2 people. its amazing how many people do get fat though after college. sitting at a desk and hanging out with kids doesnt exactly qualify as excersize, but some people seem to think so.

monkey, I believe your graduating class was already rather fat before they went to college.

i just saw like 10 people from my highschool at a party and every one had gained 40-50 lbs of pure fat. im 25, people should not look like that at this age!!!! i hate that our society is focused on money and not physical health.

yeah!! you will be rich and on a ventilator at the age of 45, good going guys!!!

exactly steve. i heard a statistic the other day that at the current rate, almost 100% of the us will be fatty fat fatties by the year 2030. that makes me want to vomit. a little while after the adkins diet came out, i went to morocco and they eat CRAZY amounts of bread daily and lots of meat and veggies too and they have one of the lowest rates of heart disease of any culture. Even in chile, where my parents are, they know at least 2 women that are over 115 years old living in a tribal culture with little medicine and all of the people look 10-20 years younger than they really are. They even have a fairly high lard content in their diet. its a wonder that we dont learn from other cultures of what works and what doesnt. My wife works in transplants and almost everyone that comes in has a failing organ because of overconsumption of either food or alcholol. many of her paitents are quite wealthy too. looks like they made the right decision.

Hey Rockmonkey, don't forget that people in other coutries actually walk from place to place, not like here, driving everywhere. When you walk two miles a day, it doesn't mether, what are you eating as much as eating burgers on the drive-thrue, go home, drink beer, eating chips, and playing video games, and one time a day, you have run 15 feet to take a 3lbs sh!t.

seriously, i have friends who'd rather drive across a parking lot than walk. It would do america a great service if gas went up another dollar or 2 a gallon (not that i want that to happen) so we'd be forced to walk or bike everywhere.
