Looks pretty lame. I guess I'll be there then.

Why must you always schedule these events when the Phoenix high is still 100+ degrees. That makes it in the 80s at Groom. Even the 70s are far too hot for granite climbing.

Oh well... guess I am bringing the lantern and the alcohol to wash away the pain that my tips will feel from greasing off crystals.

PS- Are there seriously any cute girls that go to this thing? Because that is a relevant consideration...

Sounds like fun, and I think I am off that weekend too.

C'mon dude! This is almost 2 months notice. Can't you switch a shift with someone or something?

Trading shifts during the week is one thing but to trade and get a weekend off is another. We only get one full weekend off a month usually and there are not many people that will give that up.

Looks like fun. I have not been to groom creek yet. Even though we go to Presscott all the time. I will be the guy with the smoke.

Gotcha. I was just thinking it'd be cool for you to be there since your free time is about to become more severely limited.

    Re: **2008 GROOM CREEK CAMPOUT**

How was attendance by numbers last year?

Any interest in trying some new 5.10 shoes there? I am thinking of having them ship a bunch of their new designs out for us to demo.

    Re: **2008 GROOM CREEK CAMPOUT**

I wouldn't mind trying some shoes. 5.10 lost me a long time ago; so they should woo me.

Do you wear madrock? I did too-- but they paid me. Their shoes are evidently the lowest quality on the market though.

    Re: **2008 GROOM CREEK CAMPOUT**

fish if you want to bring out shoes go for it the numbers are kind of weak right now but i think there will be at least 35+ people iam still trying to decide if iam going to get a keg once more people post up and show a intrest then i will know if it would be worth it so far iam thinking Fat Tire ? also we will be cooking saat night so if you have any ideas post up !!!!

    Re: **2008 GROOM CREEK CAMPOUT**

Sometimes I wear Madrocks, but only when I get them really cheap at Joshua Tree. I'm wearing a pair of Red Chilis that I was tricked into buying at PRG. Never again. I really don't have a favorite shoe.

Brian, don't be stupid. We need a keg regardless of how many people show up.
